Artist Rolf Sachs: New Photography Monograph & Special Edition Leica M-P 'grip'
Published by Kehrer Verlag, Berlin this new photography publication presents artist Rolf Sachs’s yearlong exploration of landscape and speed across the UNESCO World Heritage Rhaetian Albula/Bernina Railway line. In his most recent photographic project Camera in Motion: From Chur to Tirano, photographs were taken from a moving train, capturing the passing landscape in momentum and grasping the instant of a fleeting moment.
Artist Rolf Sachs, in collaboration with Leica Camera AG, has recently unveiled the new Leica M-P (Type 240) special edition ‘grip’ by Rolf Sachs, the latest addition to the Leica M-System portfolio. The new model unites the iconic rangefinder technology with artistic product design. The combination of unusual materials and the artist's signature bright red colour palette, lends the camera an unexpected look. This special edition is limited to only 79 sets for the worldwide market and currently available at select Leica Stores.
